Diginity/Seattle to hold 18th Annual Pride Breakfast
Diginity/Seattle to hold 18th Annual Pride Breakfast
On Saturday morning, June 24th, the day before the Pride Parade, Dignity/Seattle (GLBT Catholics) will sponsor its 18th Annual Pride Week Breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon, at Central Lutheran Church, 1710-11th Ave at Howell, just east of the new Cal Anderson Park.

Breakfast is $5, for all-you-can-eat pancakes, eggs, sausage, fruit, coffee, tea, and juice. There will also be a raffle with many prizes, including Bed & Breakfast stays on the Oregon Coast and San Francisco. Raffle tickets are $1.50 each or 5 for $5. Breakfast and raffle tickets may be bought at the door.

Two-thirds of the proceeds will go to benefit Multifaith Works (HIV/ AIDS social service organization) and Verbena (Lesbian Cancer Project and Sappho's Health Services), with one-third to Dignity/Seattle. Over the years, Dignity has been able to donate well over $20,000 to these groups due to the success and popularity of the breakfast.
